How to use Brand Performance
How to access the report
- Go to AI Visibility > Brand Performance
- Enter your domain, select a target location (country, region, or city), and choose a target language

Note: The Brand Performance reports are tied to the domain, location, and language you select during this setup. This means the specific combination of domain, location, and language selected counts toward your Brand Performance analysis limit.
How to change a domain
You can change a previously added domain by clicking the gear button next to the domain on the reports starting page.

However, once you update a domain slot, a 14-day cooldown period begins for that specific slot. During the cooldown, you cannot change the domain for that specific slot again.
The cooldown applies per individual domain slot, not to your entire account.
There is no overall limit on the number of domain changes you can perform, provided the specific slots have completed their 14-day cooldown. When you change a target domain, data collection stops for the previous domain. Your existing historical data is not lost — if you return to a previously tracked domain, all data collected during that period will be available again, with a gap for the time it was untracked.
If you need to track more than 1 domain simultaneously, you can add extra domain slots to your account for $99 each.
Filters and settings

Every report follows the same structure: Insights with AI-generated strategic priorities at the top, a deep dive into the data in the middle, and actionable AI Strategic Opportunities recommendations at the end. These opportunities highlight specific actions you can take to strengthen your competitive position.
At the top of each report, you can set the parameters for your analysis:
- Competitors: Select up to 9 competitors to compare against. The charts update instantly to reflect your selection. Your selection is preserved when you switch between brand profiles, so comparisons stay consistent. Click + to search for a brand or pick from Mentioned competitors, ranked by Share of Voice.
- AI platform: Choose the AI platform you want to analyze from the filter under the competitor selection. The available options are All AI Platforms, Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. All AI Platforms aggregates core metrics — Share of Voice, Mentions, Average Position, Sentiment, and Citations — across all supported platforms, regenerates text-based widgets as consolidated cross-platform insights instead of platform-specific ones, and combines questions from all platforms in the Breakdown by Question table.
- Historical data selector: Click the date dropdown at the top of the report to access any previously available weekly snapshot, and track how insights, recommendations, AI answers, business drivers, sentiment, feature descriptions, and citations evolve over time
Note: Your brand is highlighted consistently across widgets and is sorted by value alongside competitors, rather than pinned to the top.
Answers for
To see the actual AI-generated responses that shape your brand’s data, use the Answers for panel. Locate the chat bubble icon within the report tables. When you click this icon, the Answers for panel slides out, providing a focused view of the raw data without requiring you to leave your current report.

Within this panel, you can review the full, unedited text of the AI's response, giving you a clear, transparent view of exactly how the platform describes your brand to its users.
The panel defaults to My brand. Use the dropdown to see answers attributed to a competitor instead.

When you open the panel from Business Drivers, Feature Categories, or Feature Descriptions, it shows context-specific attribution - Brands attributed to this driver, Brands described in this category, or Brands described with this feature.

It displays each domain's citation percentage and tracks its performance over time, making it easy to identify key third-party publishers for outreach and partnership opportunities.

Frequently asked questions
These reports track data from Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. You can analyze each platform individually or select All AI Platforms to see your performance aggregated across all of them.
Currently, Brand Performance reports do not support subfolder-level analysis. When you enter a domain, it is treated as a representation of the overall brand to generate full visibility and perception reports.
Subdomain analysis may be possible if the subdomain is recognized as a separate brand or entity within a specific niche. In this case, the report may provide results that can be analyzed independently of the main domain.
If you want to track AI visibility for a specific subdomain, subfolder, or URL, you can use Prompt Tracking. This allows you to monitor rankings for a selected part of your website based on a custom set of prompts.
The Brand Performance analysis limit is part of a shared pool.
Any brand/domain added by a user is automatically shared and visible to everyone within the corporate account who has AI Visibility access.
On the report’s starting page, you will find a list of Analyzed Brands. This list is grouped into 3 tabs: All, My Own (domains you added), and My Team's (domains analyzed by other users on the account).

Each AI Visibility subscription added to the account contributes 1 brand/domain slot to this shared pool, and all added domains are accessible to all users.
